Amaretti of Gallarate
The Gallarate Amaretti biscuits, exclusive sweets from the Gallarate area, are one of the specialities from the Gnocchi confectionery. They are part of the hard-and-dry pastries and they are characterized by a particularly soft heart, protected by a slightly more fragrant cover. They fit pleasantly with every occasion of the day: from the aperitif time, to the tea-time, to the more classic after-dinner, where one, on spending hours with friends, alternates delicious Gallarate Amaretti and small sips of an excellent Passito, warmly recommended with the amaretti biscuits, or small sips of an amber-coloured and very delicate Vino Santo, suited for the above mentioned biscuits. With mascarpone cheese added with a shot of Grappa and a little spoon of withe sugrar, a special recipe of great Chef Giorgio Locatelli (The most famous italian chef in London), Amaretti di Gallarate produced by Past.
